Access Information for Central PA Climbing Areas

It’s usually not a good idea to climb at most central Pennsylvania climbing areas during the popular hunting days. In particular, stay away during the opening day of any of the major game seasons. Climbers’ presence during these days not only causes conflict between climbers and hunters (who have many of the same access and conservation goals as climbers), but it also drastically increases you and your pets’ chances of being shot.
