Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance talk
Posted by Tom Mrotek on September 11th, 2011Jackie Feinberg with the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) will be giving a presentation on her organization at this week’s Penn State Outing Club meeting. The SUWA is committed to protecting lands in Utah’s redrock canyon country. She will be speaking about this as well as their current campaign directed at the protection of public lands around Canyonlands National Park.
The details for the Penn State Outing Club meeting are Tuesday September 13th at 8pm in 140 Fenske Lab on the Penn State campus.
Please attend the meeting and learn what you can do to assist another nonprofit with their efforts to protect climbing areas. While C3PA was founded on a very local level, many of us enjoy climbing in Southern Utah and throughout the west. We must give equal attention to our national climbing areas as we do local.
